Best Steam games with controller

Hey, I am setting up a HTPC on which I plan to use Steam Home Streaming to play some games in my lounge from my PC upstairs. I have a Xbox one controller and just looking for some suggestions of decent games that have controller support.
Mostly single player, fps or rpg would be good.

Pretty much all modern FPS games have controller support on steam now. All racing games also have controller support, as so most of the RPGs too. You're literally spoilt for choice mate.

The Witcher 3

These games are much better when played with a controller and are awesome games.

But yea, as James says, most games have controller support nowadays.

The assassins creed series works well with 360 controller as you'd expect.

I seem to remember 1 and 2 not having great controller support at all, but I think all the subsequent ones are ok.

Nah I think they're fine, certainly the first I've played through three times now with a wireless 360 pad and it's worked great.

As said, basicay 99% of games that are cross platform have full controller support xbox360/one.

Mad Max plays very nicely with the XBox One controller.

Don't forget to install the driver first if you have a Win 7 PC.
