Best stress testing for a graphics card?

Having a small issue with my 480 artifacting in bf3 and generally acting a bit weird like causing the game to feel laggy.

So before I try to raise an rma I need to stress it to see if I can reproduce it as this is the second time it has happened, hasn't happened for a while and thought it was a bad BETA driver before, but I have been using this set of drivers for a few weeks now and only tonight it starts acting up again so I think it must be my GPU.

So what is the best way to stress it to show any issues, I have set it at stock clocks as well and it still does it in bf3, I am running Kombustor but that is showing no issues:confused:

Ouch.... do you have your Memory overclocked?

Yes, has been overclocked for quite a while but I set normal clocks and it was still doing it(unless normal clocks won't apply while in game), also I noticed gpu usage started to drop off from 99% to around 60%:(

It looks like it might be on its way out :(

Install clean drivers, take it out and clean it up, make sure its not overheating, make sure all the pins are good and clean, no dirt in PCIe slot.

are you able to test in another rig?

Temps are good, never been over 60c, it's watercooled, I might give the drivers a go as when it happened before I was using a beta set, went to 301.24 and it was fine, now these last few weeks I have been using beta (a newer one than previous) but it seems to have come back, just ran heaven a few times and nothing seems wrong.

Testing in another rig is not really something I could do, it would mean striping out my psu and swapping it over, lots of messing about.

Drivers seem it might be a real line of hope then. fingers and toes crossed.

Memory clock is 2096 (default is 1848) do you think it could be too much?

GPU clock is 851 (default 700)

Memory 2096? is that 4096? I don't think that's to much. but your clock is on the high side, not to high. shaders?

Edit, it reads as 2096, i get it. its been a while with nvidia for me, lol

I have just installed 301.42whql, these were good last time I used them(text on screen looks cleaner as well for some weird reason, a little blurred before), will also reset to defaults and see how it goes(then test overclocks), maybe BETA's don't like my overclock:)
