Time to wrap this up then, the final position to vote on before I put all the selections into an XI. Hopefully this will be far closer between far more different players than the other positions.....

Nominations are;

RVP
D.Bent
Jelavic
Suarez
Aguero
Tevez
Rooney
P.Cisse
Adebayor
Other

Some of the selections may be a little knee jerk but after some storming starts to their PL careers last season I think they're worthy of inclusion. Had Drogba not officially become an ex PL player I'd have included him.

For the final time if a mod can do the honours :)

Like HangTime said Drogba no longer plays in the PL therefore he cant be considered for a vote for the best striker in the PL, same reason why had I done this 12 months ago I wouldn't of included VDS or Scholes in the polls because both had retired and thus neither were any longer PL players

It's typical of this forum that rather than debate about the actual question instead the topic of conversation is to discuss who isn't there for selection regardless of the fact that they wouldn't of voted for them anyway

Demba ba should be on ther for last season...

Don't see why Tevez is in and not Dzeko too

I'm afraid the board has limitations of 10 options and Ba who didn't register a goal after his return from the ACN got bumped by Cisse. As for Tevez last season aside he's been a consistent goal scorer in the PL for around 5 years now and deserved inclusion (he did score quite a few goals at the tail end of the season when he stopped sulking as well)

The way these polls are going there's not actually going to be one Man Utd player in the team at the end, I guess that's a discussion all of it's own....

anti-united post or pointing out something asked (by a united supporter who started the poll) after he pointed out the fact that no united player was likely to make the team?

Your argument is fairly moot though simply because even if the team at times haven't played the most exciting football people can still surely see the ability the likes of Nani have? Chelsea dont play great football and yet it's Chelsea defenders that currently occupy the right and left back positions in the final team. Likewise when I did the wingers poll loads of people who asked why Mata wasn't included.

because mata isn't a winger?

You're missing the point, my point is Chelsea dont play great football but that doesn't stop people wanting to vote for their players so the fact no Man Utd players have made it into the final team isn't because of the quality of football the team play it's either simply because common opinion is that they're not that good or people are loathed to vote for them because they play for Man Utd.

You're the 'neutral' out of the two of us so which do you think it is?

I've already pointed out United players are in the final team (unless we're playing one defender, one winger and one striker?)

Still haven't decided on the formation yet (will do it tonight as it looks like RVP has won this one) but I was being facetious when I say no United player will make the team as the only ones who will make it wont have done so by actually winning their respective poll (like Vidic)
