looking for a new case for under £100

been looking at the Hiper Osiris but would like some advice before I
spend anything

I'm trying for the most silent system I can afford tbh

also been looking into a new psu but I think I wil be going for
Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 650W

I can't really afford to make a mistake on this so I would really grateful of the help

For silence, P182. But it's quite cramped inside.

The Osiris is an awesome case for a silent build, but the included fans are not quiet at all so they will need replacing.

think you just helped make my mind up ama go with the Hiper case for the money I think it's about the best I'm going to get

will change the fans for Noctua's :)

just looked at your Lian Li case an I near dribbled on my G15 lol
Lovely case but way out my price range.

just got to work out what cpu fan would be best looking at Noctua again

Fine choice on the fan front. Expensive, but worth it!

Yup, I still love my case after 3 weeks of ownership, so easy to work with.

The Noctua heatsink is very good, if you dont want to spend that much there's the Xigmatek S1283/OCZ Vendetta 2 but OcUK dont stock them.

Get zalman zm-f3 fans instead.

Red the xtremesystems fans shootouts to see they are stunning fans at a fiver. No point in paying more unless for something specific for a cpu or gfx.

I have the hiper osiris and the fans are silent on 5v:P but i agree they are quite loud on full chat. Think im gonna replace them all with sharkoon silent eagle 1000 blue led:)

I think you should get the lian li pc-a05b it's a slightly odd, case but it's good for the money, with the spare you could buy quieter fans and sound deadening. :)

think i will stick with Noctua fans as am very happy with the 2 Noctua 80mm
fans i have now

also looked at the suggested cpu fans and think i will pass on them
because they have the intel push an twist mounting

so it's going to have to be Noctua for all my cooling even if it does cost me
it will be worth it

now it's just a case of working out what Noctua cooler to go for lol
NH-U12P or NH-C12P

Go for the zalman fan, like I said check out *** review on xtremesystsems in their air cooling section.

If nothing else, you will be at least saving money as I picked up x3 of the 120mm zalmans for the price of one of those nocturas.

The Lian-Li PCA05-A is a very good case for the price. Get some decent fans, i use the Noctua NF-S12, and a cd-rom bezel to cover the drive and its a very good looking case. Only minor gripe i have with the case it it has a slight hot zone at the top of the case, but this can be sorted by changing the orientation of the CPU cooler, i use a Zalman CNPS-9700-LED, or by installing a Lian-Li BS-03 Blower Fan.
