Hello, I have a Leadtek 8600GT, 256MB DDR3 graphics card I got for £82 inc VAT, is this a good deal, or should I look at moving on soon?

I mainly play games such as BF2 and Test Drive Unlimited, and was wondering if this is the best performing card in this price bracket.

Me and a ground of friends have small LAN parties, and I'm vying with the likes of X1950 Pro's, 7600GTs and 8800GTS cards.

Thankyou!

Best card currently in the 50-100 price bracket is without doubt the X1950pro.

The 8600GT isn't a bad card though and is certainly better value than the 8600GTS.

It should still give you easily playable frame rates in the games you want to play with some eye candy.

If you already have the 8600GT then keep it, 1950pro is faster but doesn't support DX10.

8600GT should still be powerful enough for BF2 & TDU.

Yeah, its a hell of an overclocker, I forgot to mention that. I'm at 675/1900 from 540/1400, thats a big bump. From 9,400 in 3D Mark 05 to 11,500, with just a bit of tweaking (CPU at 4.93GHz)

Fun :D
