best sub £70 card

The HD 6750 will be the most powerful (as you can imagine) and the cooler is usually pretty good so it shouldn't be very noisy under high load (when playing a game, not playing a HD movie). So if you can find this card for this price then it probably the best option (and so long as the PSU can cope).

It depends on how much gaming you are looking to be able to do, but for a similar price (~£80) you should be able to find an even more powerful HD 6770 card. These also tend to run nice and quiet and only draw up to 108W under full load. So if the case is big enough and the PSU is good enough then I would go with a HD 6770 over a HD 6750, since the price difference is tiny, but the performance difference is less tiny - see here (to be clear, in terms of gaming performance the HD 5770 and 6770 are the same card, as are the 5750 and 6750 - the newer 6-series cards just have some better HTPC features).

May I ask what the PSU is of the system you will be using it with?

That PSU will be plenty for a card like a HD 6770, so no worries there.

Though for an extra £10 you may want to consider the HD 6850 - which also runs quiet but is a lot more powerful still (see here where it is compared to many cards including the HD 5770 in MW2).

4870 512mb be good enough

If you have one on hand then it will do the job, but the newer cards like the HD 6750/6770/6850 do better for Image quality of HD video and will be much faster for playing games. Also the single slot coolers on the HD 4850 can be a bit loud, compared to the quiet coolers used on most HD 6700/6800 series cards.
