Heyhey,

My father is toying with the idea of a small device that he can take on holiday and still check emails/internet via WiFi (Mobile/3G is not needed).

Netbooks or tablets are open to discussion. Although I think a tablet would be better for taking away on a plane.

If a tablet route is taken it'd need some sort of stand and keyboard so my father doesn't always have to jab at the screen.

The budget is roughly £210.

So, as I don't follow small items such as netbooks/tablets, can any savvy people give some recommendations? :)

If he wants to sling it about whilst travelling & must have a keyboard then he needs a Netbook not a Tablet.

Oh, he's not slinging it about so much.

I'll just quote him (this is why I believe a tablet is better):
As I am not really up with these thing I do not particularly mind what the equipment is so long as it is light, small, mobile and also has wi-fi capability. As to usage it is more likely to be occasional user in the apartment, reception area of the resort or some other building, e.g. a bar/restaurant rather than around the pool.
