Samsung S8 Ultra without question. I moved from an iPad Pro 12.9 and would not go back.
It also comes with the S-Pen in the box which is super useful for photo editing unlike the iPad which is a +£100 addition if needed.
Ah - thats kinda where I am at - much more comfortable with windows / android file systemEntirely dependant upon your usage.
In terms of screen 'quality' the S8 Ultra is superior due to the S-AMOLED display vs IPS, its also better for media consumption due to the aspect ratio and its much larger 15.6" screen vs 12.9".
The iPad's m2 CPU is much more powerful though and the battery life is superior but I find editing and viewing photo's a much more pleasing experience on the S8 Ultra however the thing that killed the iPad for me was how iOS managed its file system. I hated it and as windows / android user it feels like having your hands tied behind your back.
Do you find it too big? Or no?S8 Ultra is a beast, picked one up in the sale and used my 15% birthday bonus from samsung. Absolute pleasure using it as a media device.
It's a big tablet but I love it for watching films , mooching round net. Multitasking is sweet because of big screen. Glad I went for it as I was looking at the plus aswell. Came from a tab A8 which was dire.Do you find it too big? Or no?
I'm looking to upgrade my A7 10.4". With enhanced trade in and work voucher it works out as £390 for the S8+ 12" or £485 for the S8U 14.6". Not sure which to get. Will only be used as a media device as well just watching stuff.
Tab S8 ultra says otherwiseiPad Pro 12.9”. Large hires factory calibrated display. Doesn’t get better
Samsung's screens have been calibrated for donkey's years. You just need to select the correct profile.Samsung's S series tablets is also an alternative if you want the Android side. But yes I'll have to agree iPads will have the better calibrated displays if that's important.
