a few years ago i was in my local tesco. they had on the shelve a single creatve soundblaster external soundcard. think they wanted like £60 for it. no way was i paying that.
months went past and it was still there, no price on it so took it to the checkout and asked, £8.50, ill take that thank you. still have it i think.
