Best temp monitor for 1100T ?

Whats the best temp monitor for the phenom II series ? as i read somewhere that the temps arent reported correctly.
Any info is appreciated

If you've got an Asus board use Asus's PC Probe or AISuite

I use OpenHardwareMonitor, you have to figure out which sensor is the CPU one but it's not too hard.

I thought core temp was no good for AMD phenoms - as it uses a software generated algorithm which is inaccurate by between 5 and 10 degrees? Unless its changed in the newer version.

I'd stick with what software came with your mainboard to be honest mate - It will be more than accurate enough to give the overall temperature sensor (you can't monitor individual core temps on the X6's)
