Hi there

This is pretty simple decision really! Nothing can beat the DELL 2405FPW that OcUK's sell. Better monitors tend to only start to come in at £800 and higher due to the DELL's been such great value. :)

hi gibbo

yeah i did see that dell and it is cheap @ 675 priced up a few acers aswell at cost +vat from work and a sony but that came in at 810 too much for me the only other on i looked at was the benq that was around 660

I can vouch for the Dell 2405 being excellent. Your not going to find anything that wil compete for quality and features at the same pricerange.

I'll vote for the 2405 as well.

I currently have my PC hooked up through DVI, my 360 through VGA my PS2 & Gamecube through component and a TV input to the composite connection.

There were initial teething troubles with a high pitched whine, but I don't notice that any more.

I'm trying to talk my boss at work into getting me one to use there as well (at an excellent sub £500 EX VAT price through our Dell business account).

Another vote for the 2405. Just amazing value & quality. Most of the ones OCUK stock also have flawless panels as in no dead/lazy pixels. Impressive when you consider how many there are @ 1920x1200.

Also consider that OCUK offer a better warranty than even Dell and it becomes a no-brainer decision really.
