Best thermal paste?

OCZ Freeze, non conductive, good price, does not need a cure period, is in the top of all the thermal paste tests I can find and works good for me.

Liquid metal wins it I believe, but is electrically conductive, quite fluid, and difficult to obtain
I'm using as5/mx2 on various things

Used AS5 for ages & can't complain, when I got my new hsf I decided to try MX-2, again can't complain.
Anything listed here is pretty much a safe bet, it's more down to how you apply the stuff most of the time.

**edit I just got that same heatsink & it is very good, I'm using MX-2 on it right now.**

I use the MX-2, but before i used the Zalman STG-1 (still got a tad left).. actually very similar temps (maybe 1/2c higher than MX-2) but also much easier to apply.

Changing subject slightly.....

I just had a look at this > Coolit Systems Domino A.L.C Silent Watercooling System<

Where does the digital read out panel go within the computer?

Looks an odd shape to fit in a drive bay.

OCZ freeze is my favourite, no messing around just blob and fit. Performance is better than MX-2 in my experience (1 to 2C) and its unfussy nature reduces the chance of bad mounts.

For best performance I'd chose, and use, Coollaboratory Liquid Pro. It's a bit fussy, surfaces must be clean, and it can be a pain to remove. Get it right, a blob 1/2 the size of a small grain of rice is enough for an ihs and the base of a cooler, and it will easily make the most of your lapped set up beating OCZ freeze by the customary 1 to 2C.

it sits at the back left of the pc, the readout should be seen if you have a windowed case m8.

Not my PC btw lol.

Don't really fancy it myself m8, it gets some ok reviews from what I remember though. I think some of the better air coolers (TRUE, Noctua & Tuniq) can match stuff like this & are probably about half the price too.
