Best Thermal Paste

What is the best thermal paste to use with my Corsair H70 over an i5 processor. I have been curious about these as I know it's really important to have a really cool processor for overclocking.

Do you know of a tutorial for applying the solution to the top of the processor?

Over your finger, squeeze paste onto clingfilmed finger and spread evenly of processor OR

Use credit card to "scrape" thin layer over proessor OR

buy paste with applicator brush (like nail polish) and paint thin layer on.

Dont put too much on - just a very thin spread layer across surface.

How would i go about removing the standard paste from my H70. Is there a special tool you use to do this or liquid maybe?

I use ArctiClean CPU always looks like new after use.

i just build a new rig yesterday and it was the first time id ever applyed my own thermal paste. i used mx-3 and it worked a treat

What application method did you use?

i squirted a ball of paste in the middle of the cpu. slightly bigger than a pea and let the weight of my cooler spread it around the cpu itself. worked well for me.

How can you tell if the full chip has been covered using that method?
