+1 for Coollaboratory, i used it between the die and ihs of my 4770k and the temps are fantastic.
As said previously dont use on aluminium,i dont think i would even use it on my regular heatsink tbh as i hear it can mark copper etc,and can be a pain to remove,also it will remove the writing from the top of your chip.
if your talking regular thermal paste then i agree with mx-4,i use that all the time and get good results
