currently on althon xp 3200 barton, 2gb ram, 6800gt 256mb
don't laugh! i have upgraded around the cpu/motherboard/gpu
play games still good today (not SSE2 one though

anyway, i have a onboard sata controller that not compatible with win7
and i can't disable it to run a PCI card, doh
i was trying o get this to last until pcie3 and usb3
i know there nvidia300 series and intel i7 32nm coming soon,
i was wonder if its worth holding out for usb3, pcie3 and the nvidia300 and i7 32nm?
is intel changing the socket type??
i want to make sure its future proof...
maybe a i7 920, x58 mb, 6gb ram, and hd4870?
something cheap...
what psu is required? i have a new hiper 580w (630w load) at the moment
