Best time to buy a PS3???

I'm finally getting a decent 40" LCD High-Def TV so I want to be feeding it with a shiny new PS3!!

My question is, is now a good time to buy? (I can pick one up for £266 delivered with Devil May Cry 4

) or is there a price drop in our near future??
A mate at work has said he read somewhere about a price drop around the release of GTA4 (end of this month?) - anyone know if this is true??

266 with DMC4 is just about the best price you'll get for a long time. Officially, it recently only just dropped to 300 with GT5 bundled, so that's the standard RRP now. I'd nab it if I were you.

Anytime is a good time, really. They still won't be packaging DualShock 3's until Xmas and there won't be another price drop until then, I'd say, too.

£266 is a very good price with DMC included. I got mine new for £259.99. Just the normal retail console, didn't come with a game.

Doubt there will be any price drops as suck but wouldn't be suprised to see ps3+GTA4 bundles comming soon.

At end of the month *** GTA4 bundle is released.

At the moment the RRPs are:

40GB PS3 £299 (who would buy this??)
40GB PS3 + GT5

£299
40Gb + GTA4 £299 (better value as GTA4 is full priced game whereas GT5

is a "half price" game).

Your deal is better than any of those, bet your bundle, sell the DMC4 for 20ish quid cash and buy GTA4 separately.
