Best TN Monitor with G-Sync?

I know, right? Who the **** wants a TN panel in this day and age?! Well, this is how I see it;

  • Whatever monitor I buy right now is only going to be a stopgap until The Next Big Thing is ready for prime time.
  • The three mainstream panel techs each have limitations and drawbacks, but I'd rather not pay stupid money for something I know is fundamentally limited from day one.
  • There seems to be less of a panel lottery with TN than with IPS or VA (or maybe this is just my misperception?).
  • I'm already using a seven year old TN panel, so any new monitor, even TN, will be an upgrade.

So, what are the best (of a bad lot) TN panels out now that have G-Sync? Any size really, with a res up to 1440P.

Cheers!

Dell S2716DG (Make sure you read the thread on it if you do get one though as the out the box colour is not inspiring but there are settings that can change that).

EDIT: If you don't want to pay what they cost IIRC the only other options are 1080p panels or taking a gamble on the Acer predator.

Either the 27inch Dell as above, or the slightly smaller version - Dell S2417DG (runs at 165hz instead of 144hz).

I have had both of these and I personally think that the 24" model(S2417DG) is slightly better. My reference, however, is based on the older A01-a02 models of the S2716DG which had a few problems that from the post in here are to have been fixed since in later revisions, the 24" model doesn't ship with any of these issues.

Thanks Phixsator. I'd prefer to make the upgrade to 27", but not at the expense of quality! Seems most recent iterations of the S27 have been okay though. As a matter of interest, how does 1440P look on a smaller screen? Any issues with Windows scaling?

I don't have any issues with scaling as I don't have to use it. I run at 100% and its fine for me. Though gaming is sweeter on a bigger monitor, the 24" model doesn't seem that small.

I'll just chime in here, I have the Dell S2716DG A03 and love it. Defo my recommendation for 27" 1440p Gsync, was a bit worried about the issues with dead pixels which was happening a lot at the time i purchased it, but i'm pretty sure with the new versions its a lot less of an issue.
