Best TV for £300?

Thought I would wait until Boxing Day but can't see any especially good deals around...

Choices seem to be either 49" 'unknown' brand or 40" 'established' brand. Not sure if its worth the extra size?

Also not sure if any point going for 4K.... TV will mainly be used for PS4/BT Sport and watching 1080p TV shows...

Any recommendations?
 
Most of these unknown brands will come from the same few factories. As long as you can return it with no hassle you could gamble on the bigger tv. Build quality might be ropey.
