Best ultra portable Vlogging and photography camera

As title im looking for the best Vlogging and photography compact camera.

Obviously the Sony DSCRX100M5 ticks all the boxes apart from no mic port or flash mount. Aggghhhhh!

Also looked at the Canon m3/5 which looks good but lenses to expensive and I'd rather an all in one compact.

Ideally I want something with a mic mount for a mic, and SIDE flip out screen so I can vlog and have decent audio.

Portability is key, am a full time photographer so already have the big gear.

M6 (soon to be released m3 upgrade) should cover your needs.

Not a bad shout sir but would prefer an in built lens, ef-m lenses are overpriced imo.

Panasonic G80. Alright, no fixed lens but will tick all the other boxes.

Hmmm possible, looks quite bulky though and more than id like to spend, g70 looks similar and a lot less, hmmmmm :/

True they are not the cheapest but they are generally very good and for your needs you'd probably not want much beyond the kit lens and the excellent 22mm pancake is very affordable!

Yeah if the 22mm had IS id be all over it - but it doesn't and its mostly going to be used for video annoyingly, so thats a no go for me.

I might be looking for a camera that 'doesnt exist' but I don't see why it wouldn't.

G7 is a fantastic bit of kit for the money, but the IBIS and weather sealing in the G80 makes sense to me if you're going to use it in less than perfect weather conditions. It's surprisingly light too (esp. with the kit lens) so I'd recommend getting hold of one and giving it a try.

Hmmm perhaps, also its to much money I think, trying to keep it sensible, unless its THAT much better etc

Iv started pondering sony mirrorless cameras now, even older models, as the sensor is IS so I can wack any lens on and still get IS

Any more ideas? Searching hours per day and not getting to far ! haha
