Best Ultra-wide VA Panel?

I am looking to replace my current Acer Predator XB321HK (IPS 32" 4k gsync 60hz) with a 3440x1440 VA panel mainly for better contrast levels, higher refresh rate 100hz+, less strain on the my GPU. I will primarily be using it for gaming, movies and tv shows.

I am not interested in any IPS panel due to poor 900-1000:1 contrast ratio's, I am more of a casual gamer so I am not too fussed about response times.

I have a 1080ti so Ideally I would like to pick up a freesync panel that is gsync compatible and so I am not locked down to nvidia gpu's moving forward.

I have narrowed down my options to these monitors, can anyone suggest which one would be the one to go for:

- BenQ EX3501R
- Asus XG35VQ
- Acer Predator Z35P

yes same panel as the predator as well just without the fancy stand and some overdrive software you dont even need ....money saved could go towards a better gpu but defo up there with the best VA panels,i first cranked it up and opened a web page i was like WOW the colours just popped .....i had been looking at the predator as well when i first started looking glad i got this though

Yeah just checked its exactly the same panel....and aesthetically looks a lot better with black and sliver rather than red. Thanks for the suggestion!
Any confirmation of gsync support?

Some interesting info all monitors listed are AU optronics:

Acer Z35 : M350DVR01.0

Acer Z35P : M350QVR01.0
Acer CZ350CK: M350QVR01.0

Asus XG35VQ : M350QVR01.1
BenQ EX3501R: M350QVR01.1

I'm surprised the Samsung C34F791 / C34J791 didn't make your list. Both VA 100 hz FreeSync with QLED for even more contrast. The latter has been touted as having full GSync compatibility by some review sites (I disagree slightly going by my experience, but not by much - will reserve full judgement until I've tried it with an AMD FreeSync card).

Completely missed that one. Looking at the newer C34J791 seems pretty good, especially if it supports gsync. I have found it for around the same price as the Acer CZ350CK. When you say you disagree with gsync compatibility what do you mean specifically?

That's a shame, not sure I want to go through the hassle of having to return it if it does not work with my 1080ti. Anyways now that the AOC AGON AG353UCG is set for release this year I think I am just gonna continue saving for that.
