Best upgrade option?

MSI k8n neo2 mobo
1 gig corsair
2 x 512's
Radeon 9550
3200+ venice

Would a 4400+x2 be fine on this mobo?
and graphics card, what is the best reasonable option?

What is your budget for the upgrade? Your motherboard doesn't say that it supports an X2 on the MSI website so unless they either offer a bios flash (bit unlikely or they would say I'd think) or someone with the motherboard knows better and can confirm I think you may be out of luck here.

A X2 4400+ cpu should work fine with a bios update.

As for graphics card I would go for the HIS ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB AGP if you can afford it.
