Hi all. I have the following system.

Ryzen 3 1200
16gb dual channel ddr4
A gtx 1050ti 4gb

Games are currently on an old 1tb hdd and I'm getting an ssd.

What upgrade path would be logical from the 1200? I have a b450 motherboard.

I mostly play ark survival evolved but want to play newer games too.

I play 1080p hopefully med to high setting.

Thanks.

I'll have a look later on speccy as I'm helping a friend move house today. And I can't remember. I believe it's a gigabyte gaming variant. B450m but I'll check later.

I actually play on my full HD TV which is 60 i think. I never get more than 30 to 35 fps in ark or newer games. But I know my gpu is ageing also.

I don't have much money so probably second hand market. I know I can get 50 or so quid for my 1200. And put another 70 or so towards that figure.

Damn. I have a Silverstone slim home theatre case you see. And the gtx 1050ti is a miniature itx version so I don't know if there's anything more powerful than that in that size yet?

I was wrong its not a gigabyte at all but it is a B450m, its a Micro-Star International Co. Ltd. B450M GAMING PLUS (MS-7B87) (AM4).

Sky, my case is a silverstone sst-ml03b milo htpc case.

And yes I can only fit low profile cards, ive read about pcie risers, they sound tricky? Theres not much room in the case already?

Edit - Iv'e looked at benchmarks now, and the 1650 ti seems to provide a roughly 40% increase in performance in basically every newish game. Does it require external power connector like the 1050ti doesn't? Cant seem to find that info.

Wondering if I upgrade to that gpu and then eventually upgrade my cpu.

Great sky amazing. Final question. Would the 5600 you mentioned come with a small enough hsf to fit in my milo case? Which other lower tiered cpus would also come with a small enough fan like from the 2 or 3000 range?

Thank you.
