So I built a new pc a few months ago with the Ryzen 7 2700x so my PC is screaming fast for gaming but I never upgraded my graphics card, im still on the Nvidia 780 3gb and run a 1440p monitor so the 3gb is so limiting.

Now I have been playing Monster Hunter World a lot and I have to run it at 1080p and everything on low and even then i only get 30-40fps.

I dont want to spend huge amounts since its only really for that game and maybe some in the future, the cost of ards right now is insane, i cant justify £300 for a 2060 i dont think. Is there any card that would fit my needs thats a decent price?

Nvidia releasing a gtx 16XX line of cards in a few weeks, I haven't read any rumours regarding performance but would be worth waiting to see if that meets your needs. No idea if it will be capable of 1440p performance, but the 1660Ti rumoured to have 6GB gddr6 ram. https://www.extremetech.com/gaming/...del-information-leaks-from-multiple-retailers
Oh wow ok i never knew that, thanks for the headsup! Lets hope they are a bit cheaper, i find the cost of graphics cards sickening compared with how they used to be! It seems they get a but more expensive every year. Although an AMD 580 8gb seems to be a bargain at £180!
