Hi

I'm looking for an android tablet (11 inches or bigger), mainly to stream Sky Sports+. Currently looking at an Honor Pad 9. Is there anything better value than that around the same price range (around £200) or cheaper?

Was looking myself and settled for the Honor magic pad 2, has Bluetooth keyboard and can be had on Honor site for £400 currently with black Friday deal, but also get charger as you don't get one in the box (only usb c cable)

It's pretty decent when I was looking at reviews it has a better battery then the Honor 9, I know it's more expensive though then the budget you have set.

I bought a Doogee T30 Pro during the last Prime sale (£129) - absolutely thrilled with it. Widevine L1 (Netflix & Hulu in full HD), decent amount of RAM and 256Gb onboard storage (I also added a 1Tb SDXC card).

I use it with Stremio, Nvidia Geforce Now, Moonlight (to play games already installed on my PC) and even the PS5 - my kids & I spend a fair amount of time in hospital, so it gets plenty of use.

Kids have old Fire HD 10 tablets, which I'm gradually swapping out for the Doogee, when they need replacing.

Also comes with a decent quality flip-case/stand & screen protector already installed, which was a nice bonus.

(Edit: I noticed the Android 14 T30 Pro version isn't available, but the same model with Android 13 is currently £159. Or consider the latest T40 Pro at £230)

I recently bought the new iPad mini (A17 Pro) it’s a brilliant size and very powerful with its A17 Pro chip. I don’t think anyone can beat the iPadOS interface. Way out of your price range though at £499 for the base model with 128GB.

Hadn't considered this. Good call. Thank you. I'll wait to see if there any deals next week.

As I said, it's a really good tablet and I've yet to find fault with it.
My only complaint is that the screen is only 1440p 60hz - but I'd have to pay at least four times the price to get a 120hz screen, so I can live with it :D

How have you been finding this?

I need a tablet for mostly pdf reading and need something at the 13” range due to the material being read vs my eyes. I’ll probably use it for a little Plex / audiobook listening.

Was going to get an iPad but the 800 price tag for an air feel completely OTT for me.

I havnt used it that much but the screen is lovely Oled seems pretty decent and has good battery life, from a Youtube review I seen one of the best for battery life.

The Honor Pad 10 looks to have just been released. I'm quite interested in getting one. No more than £300 and it has a 7 Gen 3 Snapdragon Chipset. My only question is does the MagicOS have the Play Store, Gmail etc apps available?

How are you finding the Doogee Tablet now?
I'm after one for the small one for youtube duty.
There is currenlty a Doogee 2025 Android 15 on offer for 90quid and considering this one.
I had similar price Android tablet before and find out that after 6-9months the built in flash memory on this degrades and becomes unusable and I'm hoping this Doogee has better built in flash memory.

Still going strong.
Bought the U11 Pro (about £120, iirc) for two of my kids after their Fire Tablets gave up which have also been excellent.
Happy to recommend.

Was looking for a new tablet and with fathers day discount = £266.99 + 8.5% cashback, it has been ordered.
