Best value buy?

Hi all, I'm setting a budget aside for post-xmas spending. On the list of things to buy: new gfx (probably 5770), new monitor, ssd, some fans and stuff. It all adds up to nearly £600, which is a bit too much lol.

The gfx card is a must, so out of the other two (SSD, monitor) which would you say would give me the most smile factor for money?

My current monitor is an old 22" 1440X900 (with no HD inputs :mad:

), my current HDD is a 500Gb Sammy F3. What would you choose?

Basically, you have £350 to spend, what do you buy out of all this? The mobo and ram can wait, as I can get more life out of current one, but it's rubbish for OCing so want to upgrade at some point.

come back in the new year then. Prices are too volitile to spec now for future spend.

Ah fair point, the reason I asked is I get paid today and was tempted to get either the monitor or ssd this side of xmas. Merry christmas to me

I usually get a decent xmas bonus and get paid a little earlier in December. Nothing wrong with an early Merry xmas to me
