As per title, what is your go too chamois cream? Over the years the increase in price for chamois cream stopped me from buying any of the main brand stuff.
For the last two years I have been using Battles Udder Cream with good success. If you don't know what Udder Cream is, it is normally used on cattle
It has served me well, it is a little sticky when first applying but is fine once I've been mooooving for a while.
At a cost of around £17 per 1.1kg tub, it is ridiculous value! I can honestly say the only difference over cycle brand stuff is the stickiness.
I am looking to treat myself to a tub of branded chamois cream for my longer rides, the udder cream will still be my go too.
"Battles Udder Cream is a traditional, readily absorbent, and antiseptic formula designed for treating chaps, sores, and maintaining skin condition in cattle and for protection against mud fever in horses. The primary active ingredient is 0.1% Cetrimide B.P., complemented by a base of water, emulsifying wax, petroleum jelly, oils, and preservatives"
