As it says really, what's the best option for a gaming laptop with a view to keeping the price down? Is the Y510P the best option, or?

I would say this is a better spec than the Y510p

yes it has less ram but it's a bigger SSD and better and bigger screen. If I had a grand to drop on a laptop this would be on my list

I was told the best graphics chip in laptops bang for buck is the gfx 870m. Do you know how that compares to the 765m listed on that laptop you linked?
