So, I'am currently using a Windows 10 PC with no Office suite. Which version of office should I get, 365 or 2016. If so, does Office 365 also come with Office 2016?

I bought 2013 a while back and it upgraded for free to 2016. Might be something else to consider instead of 365.

365 means you are buying Office as a subscription and includes extras like 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage & skype minutes, you will get the latest 2016 desktop apps. If you buy 2016 its a one of purchase and you stay on that version when the next release happens.

If you've got more than one PC that requires Office, then subscription is worth considering. You pay around £70/year and that covers up to five installations.
Personal subscription will set you back around £51/year and that will cover a single installation.
With subscription you're always entitled to the latest version of Office and you get OneDrive storage and Skype minutes.

£107 will get you a one-off purchase of Office (without Outlook). This will be 2016 and you won't be entitled to any future upgrades for free.
If you require Outlook the one-off price goes to around £190.

For some people it's vital, my mum needs Office for her business. Office 365 is a fantastic product, the subscription model works really well. Especially the multiple machine option. Always having the latest version is fantastic.

Personally, Notepad2-mod covers my needs on my PC and Google Docs / Onedrive does the rest.
