My dad wants to use this software to try to correct the photos that are taken on holiday.

Whats the best version?

There, was photoshop elements, photoshop and photoshop cs.

Photoshop CS is a progression from photoshop [number]. Elements is just a stripped down version.

Paintshop Pro is much cheaper and if simply adjusting photos then it is just as good. Also has a much superior browser and much more intuitive (that is an opinion, I guess).

Why was a thread asking for a software reccomendation in the software forum moved to the programming forum?

Because it is graphics?

Photoshop CS2 is the daddy IMO. As mentioned, paintshop pro is far cheaper, but I really don't like it as im used to photoshop. If you want it just for photos, you might want to have a look at Picasa. Ive installed it on my parents computer as a picture browser. But it also includes some decent basic image tweaking functions.

£347, how much?????

bs that everyone here, not even a quarter actually bought it, bet it was downloaded. come on be honest, i did, but then i didnt use it so that why, just wanted to look at it

Elements is pretty good but i would give microsoft digital image Suite a go very easy to use plus great results and its cheap
