Best video converter?

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a decent video converter that is fast, good quality and supports loads of formats. I don't mind paying a bit for a decent one. Saw a few reviews of AVS Video Converter and some say its the best and others say its not so good. Any recommendations?

Probably a stupid question but does it only convert to DVD? I want 1 that can convert to and from lods of fomats (well a few anyway LOL).

Yes, only to DVD and if you want to put a video onto DVD you don't need to pay for it, DVD Flick can do this for you, even burning it onto your DVD blank media...

Trying MediaCoder at the mo, seems pretty nippy Just a couple of things I dont like about it but its good and free so can live with the adverts.
