Hi all,
i'm looking for the best solution to convert .mkv files into a format that can be played back on:
Win7 MC and/or WMP
VMCE and/or WMP
32" 720p Toshy (via xbox360)
42" 720p LG (via usb drive DivX)
I tried one last last which converted 5mins of a mkv movie quite well. I used a pre-set format of HD divx (.avi) and worked on everything except the LG tv, even though it was DivX.
I don't know much about encoding/re-encoding etc. I assume i just need to change the file wrapper? But again, i'm not very knowledgeable on video/audio conversions.
So, anyone got any advice for me please?
