I've been thinking about what case one would buy if they wanted a massive watercooling loop (say cooling something like quadfire/sli + CPU)

Realistically at the moment, I'm thinking the best case around must still be the TJ07 Due to notable problems with alternatives.

I'm thinking cases that could actually support this kind of set up are:
Little Devils
Mountain Mods
TJ07
TJ11
Cosmos SII
800D
Xigmatek Elysium

Mountain Mod Cases are hardly the most Aesthetically pleasing cases around.
Same can be said of the Xigmatek Elysium
Little Devils and the Cosmos SII - Absolutely massive cases....
TJ07 - minimal issues
TJ11 - For watercooling. No Roof rad support without reasonable amount of modding. Also, the roof mobo mounting would annoy anyone who needed to change anything plugged into the back of their case frequently (e.g. switching from headphones to speakers with a sound card...)
800d - arguably still great - will be interesting to see what an updated version of this does.

Oh, also I figured this would be more appropriate for Watercooling rather than Case section

If you are willing to put a little bit of work in, then the TJ11 is the mother of Watercooling cases imo.

Although for my uses, my 800D does just fine :)

Hi mate,
I have the TJ07 and its bang tidy. Cable management isn't great without modding, although I can't be bothered. Aesthetics are good too, compared to some of these ugly cases.

If you're willing to mod/have modded, then quite a few of the larger Lian Lis would have to be included in there too, eg my A71F, click sig for mods I hade done if youre interested and subsequent WCing

TJ07 = win

TJ11 has no roof rad support. You can stick a 240 at the back though, but you need to mod

Then again, you can have a 560 SR-1 at the bottom. Do you really need much else?

My choice would be the 07 as it's best value for money IMO

TJ07 you can't really put a rad in the roof its too thick with the fans even with the thinner rads.

But you can get two radiators in the bottom, probably a 480 (4 x 120) and a 240 :)

Depends how hot your expect your rig to get. The biggest problem with cooling 4 x GPU + OC CPU is getting rid of the heat from the surrounding area once they start to get the loop hot.

But its certainly possible even with a Lian-Li :)

i have a tj07 and a 360 rad in the roof.it's an xspc ex360 with 3 vipers.i got a grill from another site that came with the bolts needed and cut the hole bigger myself.the grill was £24 with postage and looks good imo

I admit its possible, there are all sorts of mods, just like you can get a murdermod for the tj07 and all sorts of funky bits a pieces to turn it into whatever you like. I've got a tj07 rig myself, it just depends on how much you want to mess about.

Two rads in the bottom is an easy win with a tj07 and gives you a lot of cooling without much modding.

TJ07 > most cases I agree for watercooling. Love mine to bits.

Tj07 is good, tj11 is great.

Both need work to get them set for watercooling.

The only case I would have with out of the box rad support is a little devil.
