I have older non smart Panasonic 50in plasma (would like to keep it as I feel PQ is good etc), I have amp+speakers in close proximity..........

As I have Amazon Prime what would be the best solution so I can use Prime music in conjunction with the above?, ie: some sort of solution that has analogue audio out> to amp.

A first generation amazon fire TV (not the new 4k one) as you clearly have prime already will be well worth the money.

Should be sub £60 if a little hard to find.

hmmm my own edit as these have become very hard to get hold of as they are all being sold with iffy Kodi addons pre installed on the auction sites.

ahhh, interesting, I`ll research that, thanks m8

Amp is just regular Hi Fi amp, would like to output sound via my half decent speakers....not as straightforward as it should be

If you don't mind having to have the telly on when listening to music then simply add an Optical to Analogue Stereo converter box to the telly Optical socket. Than and a long enough lead with the Amazon Fire TV box would be 'job sorted'

i think the best solution tbh is a smartphone or tablet and then use bluetooth or wifi to a bluetooth or wifi dac.

or even a wire straight from the phone or tablet into the amp.

or a usb dac to the amp.

:o:o:o wait...........there is an idiot in the equation, TV is so old it has RCA audio out, sorry guys I should have checked but was sure it didnt have, AND it seems to output not just from its inbuilt tuner, but from an hdmi in source, so it loos like an Amazon box may be the answer............. again, apologies for being retarded, in my defence, I`m old.
