So recently bought a new LG OLED TV which supports Dolby vision and Dolby Atmos, I use Apple TV 4k for most of my movies which also support DV/DA so want to get a sound system to get the best audio possible.

Budget I don't really know as I haven't looked into how expensive the components are.

I've been using a Samsung sound bar with a bass box which used Bluetooth for about 2 years now and whilst it's been ok, I want to take advantage of having DV/DA.

Any tips on where to start? Gear needed?

Might seem like a waste when only using the Apple 4k TV but I've thought about a dedicated UHD Blu-ray player such as the Sony UPB 700.

Cheers. :)

You'd want a Panasonic UHD player, the Sony players if you enable DV, enables it for all content, you have to switch it on and off depending on the disc and you'd have to know which discs have DV or just normal HDR, The Panasonic players you don't have to do this.

As for Atmos you'd probably be best suited with an Atmos supported soundbar unless you have room for all the discrete speakers and an amp.
Yeah looked at the Panasonic players too, they look good.

It's in my living room which is 18ftx15ft so plenty of room. :)
