Best way to back up an oscommerce install ?

Hi, i just went a did the most annoying thing of deleting my oscommerce folder on my host server so my online shop doesnt exist anymore. Thought i had backed it up, but i hadnt.

What is the BEST way to backup an oscommerce install with all my images and data that i have put it ?

It is installed like this -> www.mydomainname.co.uk/cart

It might be worth having a chat with your provider as they might run system wide backups so there may be a chance you can get it back.

As for backing it up I normally download the site to either a local folder or a fold above root on the server.

On cPanel there's an option every user has access to, simply called "Backup" where you can generate and download full backups of everything in your webspace, including MySQL databases.
