best way to benchmark my PC?

I was thinking of maybe upgrading somethings on my PC, and was wondering what the best ways of benchmarking my pc are?

or if you want to suggest an upgrade my pc's specs are in my sig.

3dmark, or game demos with benchmarks built in.

Id say you have a decent setup there already. If you really feel the need to upgrade then an SSD is nice for the OS, another GTX460 if your board supports SLI. Or even an i5/i7 to upgrade your CPU

Crysis does, i think farcry2 does, dirt2 does, hawx 2, lost planet 2, mafia 2,theres a stalker benchmark you can download as well as a standalone if you dont have the game. Theres also the haven and stone giant benchies as well.

i might be wrong here, but what about sisoft sandra, or passmark performance test?
also even super pi can show you an improvement, if you change your cpu
but 3dmark does seem to be the most popular
