Best way to boost signal from a bt infinity router

So the lounge is 12M from the kitchen, no wifi in the kitchen, What booster should i use?

POwerline network to a booser module in kitchen or can i just get away with the booster, the latter doesnt make sense to me as surely it'd need a strong signal or cabled source to be able to then extend that signal, or would you put it in an location thats not too far from the lounge but boosts signal enough into the kitchen?

A powerline network would probably be the simplest solution particularly if you're in a fairly new house with decent wiring. I've used wifi boosters before and found them a bit hit and miss.

And you can just plug another wifi router into that, interesting and a bit 'bity'. But if it works..
