Guys,
My media pc's boot record has been compressed (lol) so it won't boot I know how to fix this via dos prompt but I can't seem to boot into dos - it's running vista and I have a working widows 7 machine so created a boot cd from that but won't work as it detects a vista install not win7!
The catch is I have no internet access yet, so can I manually create a dos boot disk via my working machine at all??
I know I could take the hdd out an sort it but that is a mammoth task!
Ideas?
