Best way to check card stability?

I know, i know...play a game!

I want to be able to see the desktop though, so i can observe Rivatuner.

Plus, i dont really have anything to play just now....I was planning on GTA 4 but bottled it!

Any idea's?

Give atitool a go too, that can overclock and check stability (though not as well as furmark above).

Can you run any of the futuremark progs in windowed mode? You could use those too if so.

Personally I run 3DMark06 at the native res of the montor, and force on all AA options, and filtering options to max. This usually makes 3DMark crash out in minutes on an unstable gfx overclock, whereas it can run forever at the default settings 3DMark ships with.
