Hi there,

I am very new to OCing and am wondering which is the best way to check my vcore. I am running CPUZ and Everest and both of these are reporting near enough the same figure (~1.2v)

My CPU (Q6600 G0) is currently at 3.2 GHz (356x9) with temps during Prime95 at ~ 52°C. Can I take it that these readings are accurate? Will I need to bump the vcore to get to 3.4 GHz? Any advice appreciated :)

Thanks

Ive noticed that CPU-Z always gives me a lower V-Core reading than what i have set it at in the BIOS for some reason??

The BIOS reading and CPU-Z reading should be much the same. They will typically be 0.05V lower than what's set in the BIOS.
