Best way to clean a keyboard ?

Take it apart (usually just a few screws).

Put the top half with the keys on in the bath and give it a scrub.

Allow to dry and reassemble.

Shiny, shiny, like new.

Easiest to take it apart to clean as you only need to clean the top part.

It will dry quicker and the bottom part with the electronics in will stay dry.

Sorry to bump an old thread.

I have an logitech keyboard and apparantly there are hidden screws under 'caps lock' and the '+' key.

What's the best way to remove these keys so I can access the screws ?

Thanks.

I use a new/clean paint brush inbetween the keys, turn upside down the keyboard and shake so all bits come out... and then wipe over all the keys with a clean cloth with anti bacterial Dettol on....Always clean.
Same with mouse i wipe it with anti bacterial Dettol on a cloth.
