I also need/want dvd/ps2/original xbox to be connected to the tft too.
I currently have a 4 to 1 scart switch box, with the above things plugged into it.

Would the best way to connect the 360 be a VGA 306 lead, into a VGA switchover box.
And then the scart box, also into the vga switcher using a scart to vga converter, if you get me.

Or, the easier solution is plug the 360 into the scart box, and then just use a single scart>vga lead to the monitor from the box, would i loose much picture quality from the 360 doing it that way?

:)

I think the first method would get you the best picture quality for the 360. The second method would limit you to standard definition I think.

Probably best doing the 360 straight through vga then. And the sound through a amp.
The rest will be fine through a scart converter(as nothing else i have can output HD)
Any ideas if vga switch boxes loose much quality?

K, cheers.
Just need a VGA splitter box now then, and as usual i guess the cheap ones will be just that, cheap quality, lol.

Is it a widescreen lcd?
Does the image appear full screen or black bars down the sides?

depends on the resolution and the game
for me at 1280x1024 some games like PGR4 are stretched to full screen, whereas others like bioshock are 1280x720 with black bars
