We ahve a PC as in the thread title with no TV out on the graphics card. What is the best way to go about connecting this to a TV and getting a decent quality picture?

Thanks

Plain and simple u need to replace that card, even graphic cards that came out 3-4 years back the cheap nasty GF2 mxs for 25 quid came with a S-video output!

And you can get GF4mx/Radeon 7000 AGP or FX5200 PCI cards for about £29.99-£39.99 with an S-video out, be a lot better then using adaptors and other box devices.

Like HighlandeR said its far easier and cheaper buying another card with tv out on it than trying to find and buy a vga to video converter for about £100.

Remember TV quality is poor compared to Monitors. The resolution they run at is really low so you'll never get a picture to match the quality on a monitor.
