Best way to do a fresh install?

Well its got to that time again where windows a f'ing up (especially crashing windows with films containing large video files) :confused:

So was gonna d a fresh install of XP, anyone know of a way I can do this without having to loose all my programmes, I have plenty of HD space on other drives to shift folders I need keeping.

Anything I can do to save the soaftware so I dont have to install EVERYTHING again?

you will have to reinstall the software anyway, so backup important files and format that sucker.

once u have formated and installed windows i would say make an image of the windows installation before u install any drivers and software then make another image after u install all your drivers and software

cheers guys, I have tried Acronis once but it was balls TBH, plus I have an awful feeling it will copy the problems across too lol.

Dont mind having to reinstall everything cause i Have all the discs properly filed, just bloody time consuming!
