Best way to do this

Right in my office in loft i have

my pc
IP phone
Nas drive and
Fax Machine

There's a phone line there with the router.

down stairs in front room i have my
Gaming pc
Sky Box
and PS3

There's is also a phone line socket there.

At the minute the gaming pc and ps3 connect via wireless but this is no good for gaming as i haave found out.

Hows best to connect them to the router? I could move the router downstairs and hard wire them in but how do i get the internet upstairs then ?

what we did was.

have router upstairs, run ethernet cables out the wall down the back of the house into the room that needs wires

This is what I wanted to do. but inside is all laminte flooring so can't run under the floors .And she doesn't want cables outside the house !

I'm now looking at powerline option from western digital. Built in 4 port switch .

2 x powerline adapters and a cheap and chearful 4 port switch that can be had for a tenner. Job done.

I done this for the PC's upstairs and now for the xbox downstairs, just add another homeplug/powerline adaptor.
