Took out my 970 yesterday and replaced with a 1070 and wish to advertise the old one for sale!

How do you suggest dustin the card? Especially the rear, cant just wipe it as it would get caught on all the bits and bobs (technical)

Thanks

Matt

I use a compu cleaner electric air duster, blows away all dust, plus usually anything else that is nearby on the desk :)

+1

It's night and day compared to using a can of compressed air. Much more powerful, quicker, less fiddly and no chance of accidentally squirting fluid over everything.

+2 don't use a hoover, don't buy expensive and short lived can of compressed gas. Invest in one of these once and your computer cleaning condrums are cured

Personally, I strip them down and dust with an unused soft paintbrush. I'll usually also run the heatsink itself under the tap and leave to dry before putting it all back together and applying fresh TIM. I'm past due a service actually :D
