Best way to get a company out there?

I work for a glass manufacturer and my boss has asked me to try and think of ways to get the companies name out there and new customers in.

We make double glazed units, mirrors, single pains, stains. Pretty much anything to do with glass. We do not fit though. Our main clientele at he moment are tradesman we occasionally get people off the street in.

Other than trawling through yell and sending out leaflets/cards to other business what other ways can I advertise. Was thinking Facebook but would I feel like the target audience wouldn't be that way inclined although I may be wrong.

Appreciate any help. Posted in here, not GD as wasn't sure if this came under professional development or not.

Facebook isn't going to work for a company who's main clients are tradesmen.

A decent website is a must, as other tradesmen will give your name out when asked and one of the things folks are going to do is google you, perhaps see if there is anything you can do there. Other than that, just a leaflet drop maybe... but don't expect many hits from one.
