Couple of questions:

1, What is the best deal you can get for live membership? Ive seen 35 quid for 12 months and 1000 free points ?

2, Is it possible to use a pc as a hub for the live connection eg add another network card to my pc and use it to share my internet connection.

3, (Ok so its now a few questions) Does the VGA cable do 1280 x 768 ?

1. Visit ebay, ~£23

Not sure what you mean by "free points", market place points? I think 2000 points are about £17 so thats not really a great deal.

1. If you can find one, the old original xbox live starter packs with game (PES5, PGR2 etc.) old headset and 12 months subscription work out the best deals as they can be had for £25 ish if your lucky. Just ebay the bits you don't want and you'll score a few quid back. win win.

2. Yes, you just need to bridge the connections.

3. Yes, thats what mines set at.

I just select the share internet connection option and it worked. I was surprised how easy it was to work. The same with Media Center - it just worked...

brilliant thanks for your help guys. Ill go get another network card, do i need a crossover or will a patch do these days ?

Also lordrobs - is it much better at that res than 720p? (presuming your tv/monitor is optimal at 1280 768)

Apparently a patch will work but I used a crossover.

I used the VGA adaptor too and I found the image was too sharp at higher resolutions and Im sure the game ran slower.
