Best way to have news section on a website

Hey everyone

I want to have a section on a website that displays news but is easy to follow, but mostly something that is easy to add to, i.e. new information is added to a file or something and the formatting is taken care of for me.

I have no idea how to do this so any help would be great.

You could add stuff to an RSS feed and then use one of the myriad of rss->xhtml XSLT files to do it via php.

philjohn that snd's like the exact thing that I want to do, do you have any suggestions on what is a gd tool for using rss->XHTML?? is that what wordpress is?

I'm very new to this whole RSS feed thing so any links would be great
