i know i know noob question :p

but how can i know for sure what model I have? I have been in hardware devices and says I have the Ati 1900 Series... please could anyone tell me if there is a software that can tell me the exact model? i.e. 1900 or 1950..

thanks! :D

X1900 series is a X1900 otherwise it would say X1950 series

You could post the ram and the clock speeds here and that will help/let us ID the card :) (ATI information center tells you this)

Also be handy to post the Device ID (my x1800xt gives 7100)

Not strictly true. From a fresh Vista install my X1950 shows up as "Radeon X1900 series" in the welcome center.
